Eteach are currently working alongside one of our client Pupil Referral Units who are looking to recruit a Secondary SEN Teacher with a specialism in SEMHD and associated Challenging Behaviours to join their school in Reigate, this will be on a long-term supply basis, with potential options to go permanent at a later date.
The school caters for pupils from the age of 5 to 16 years old with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The school provides a supportive, inclusive and therapeutic learning environment and are committed to raising all student’s achievement and facilitating students to recognise and accomplish their potential. This role is based in Key Stage 4 with some Key Stage 3 students.
This Short Stay School is in a relatively isolated position so would be ideally suited to a driver or someone with their own means of transport, though there are some public transport links.
The school are particularly interested in Teachers with a background of Food Technology though they are keen to meet with any Teachers with experience or passion for teaching within a PRU environment.
The Ideal candidate will be:
Experience delivering the Secondary curriculum
Experience working with SEMH or the desire to do so
Teachers motivated and passionate about making a difference
Flexibility and creativity
Good behaviour management
