Crowdys Hill School is a dynamic and expanding special school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs. We have 230 pupils on roll, ranging from 5-19 years of age. All of our pupils have moderate or severe learning difficulties and social communication difficulties. Some have autism, ADHD or other more complex needs.
We are currently seeking to employ, a teacher for a fixed term contract, 01/01/2021 to 31/07/2021.
0.8 FTE (Tuesdays off) or 1.0 FTE Complex Needs Teacher for KS3 and KS4 MLD/SLD/ Autistic pupils.
The school is expanding and as a result there will be further positions coming up throughout the year. You will be covering a timetable which is mainly year 7 primary level (academically aged 5-8), english, maths, science and project work including humanities. Teaching ICT to year 10 and 11 at entry level.
There is the opportunity to teach ICT to Sixth Form, though not essential.
