Full Time/Part time SEND Teacher required
- From 1st January 2022
- Salary: Main Scale/UPR plus fringe and SEN1 allowance plus potential TLR
We are a special school for pupils from years 7 to11 who have learning and additional needs. We are seeking a full or part time primary/secondary qualified teacher to teach a full range of subjects across the curriculum and be a form tutor. Many of our students, although of secondary age, are working at a primary level and follow a KS1/KS2 curriculum.
This position would suit someone who has an interest/experience in SEND and would like to develop this further. For interested candidates, a middle leadership position (pastoral) with a TLR attached is available as part of this role.
Experience of working in a special school is not essential as full training/CPD opportunities will be given. Candidates from both special and mainstream schools are encouraged to apply. Pre-visits to our school are strongly encouraged.
We were graded Outstanding by OFSTED in 2009, 2012 and 2016.
Closing date for applications 8/10/21. Interview date week commencing 18/10/21. Previous applicants need not apply.
This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff to share this commitment. Enhanced DBS, Children’s Barred List and Right to work in the UK checks are required for this post.
