Pentrebane Primary School prides itself on being an inclusive school situated in the west of the city. The Head teacher and Governing Body are looking for an inclusive, innovative, conscientious and inspirational classroom practitioner for our ASD Specialist Resource Base. The teacher must be committed to promoting the wellbeing, social and emotional needs and learning needs of our pupils to ensure they achieve, succeed and are happy.
We have an exciting opportunity for a specialist class teacher who:
Is an excellent classroom practitioner who inspires all of their children to reach their full potential through high quality learning experiences;
Has high expectations of themselves and of their children;
Has experience of planning for and teaching pupils with complex additional learning needs;
Recognises the needs of individuals and has a passion for all pupils to achieve and develop the skills for lifelong learning;
Has sound knowledge of ASD and experience of working with pupils with ASD;
Will be a motivational practitioner working collaboratively with an effective and committed team contributing to the school’s strong team ethos;
Is an excellent communicator with high-quality interpersonal skills;
Can commit to supporting the wider school vision.
