Do you have a passion for working with children within a Special Education Needs (SEND) setting?
We are working with a highly regarded 'Outstanding' SEN School to source dedicated, patient SEN Teaching Assistants who have a flexible and calm communication style.
The opportunity is initially on a supply basis with a view to being considered for upcoming permanent opportunities. The School offer unrivalled CPD opportunities and have been known to develop their staff through to a full teaching career for those that aspire to teach, demonstrate ability and have a genuine dedication to a specialised teaching arena.
You will have experience of working in a similar setting or 1-2-1 within mainstream with ASD students, an ability to work with students from all key stages would be an advantage but not a necessity.
In your role as a Teaching Assistant you will:
-Support pupil’s independent learning and progress
-Work closely with the designated Classroom Teacher and Support Workers
-Assist with delivering work plans and support in 1:1 activities
-Be committed to supporting pupils welfare, including their medical, physical and emotional well-being.
