Hours: 18 hours 45 minutes per week, term time only (Monday to Friday 9.30am – 12pm and 1pm – 2.15pm)
Salary: Hay 10 (£8,476 - £9,174 per annum)
This is a temporary post subject to funding, which will end when the funding ceases or the child leaves the school.
We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and pro-active SEN Teaching Assistant to work with a year 3 learner with an ‘Education and Health Care Plan’ (EHCP) for sensory processing disorder, social communication difficulties and anxiety. Knowledge and experience of working with children with a statement for specific educational needs or an education and health care plan would be beneficial, and in particular experience/ an understanding of autism and/or EAL learners.
The successful candidate must have excellent people skills, be a real team player, be well organised and be able to communicate effectively with all members of the school community and the family of the child.
