Salary: Hay 10 (£14,821 - £15,729 per annum)
Hours: 31 hours, 15 minutes, Monday to Friday
This is a temporary post that will end when the funding ceases or the child leaves the school.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic, calm and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to work alongside a child in Lower Key Stage 2. The child concerned has a range of complex special educational needs, including social, emotional and mental health and therefore a successful candidate would need experience of Social, Emotion and Mental Health (SEMH) and trauma.
The role would be on a 1:1 basis and would support the child to improve their learning experience and their integration into mainstream whole class and group learning.
The role would require planning of provision in line with EHCP outcomes in liaison with the class teacher and SENCO and would include; sensory diet, behaviour management techniques, co-regulation and regulation strategies and personalising the curriculum.
This is a temporary post subject to funding that will end when the child leaves school, or when the funding ceases.
The applicant would need to be available for the directed times of 8.30 -12.30 and 1.15 - 3.30 Monday to Friday throughout term time.
