SEN Teaching Assistant
Start date: As soon as possible
Hours: 15 hours per week, term time only
Salary: Hay 10 (£7,114 - £7,550 per annum)
This is a temporary post subject to funding that will end when the funding ceases or the child(ren) leave the school
We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to support a child with an ECHP and to deliver high quality interventions.
Initially the post will be with one child but to avoid creating a dependency culture, this may extend to working with other children in other year groups at times.
Experience of working with children with Attachment Issues and Autism would be an advantage.
You will need to show a good understanding of children with special educational needs and take a lead in developing tasks which enable personalised targets to be met.
We are looking for someone who can work independently and can also develop strong relationships with children, colleagues and parents.
