We have an exciting vacancy for an experienced Special Needs Assistant to join our excellent team.
The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and experienced Teaching Assistant to support a child with SEND on a 1:1 basis. Ideally, you would have previous experience of supporting a child with Autistic Spectrum Condition. Relevant experience working with pupils with communication difficulties and/or social, emotional, and mental health needs would also be an advantage.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, warm and caring individual who is able to develop a supportive relationship with children and their families for the purpose of improving educational outcomes, self-esteem, resilience and aspiration. This may include emotional support, following structured programmes and contributing to multi-agency meetings.
