An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced SENCO to join Hareclive E-ACT Academy .
We are looking for a SENCO to work as a valued member of the senior leadership team. This role is being offered as a permanent, full time position.
POST: Special Educational Needs Coordinator
SALARY: Teacher Pay Scale or equivalent plus SEN allowance
START DATE: All dates considered
CONTRACT: Permanent, Full time of 37 or 32.5 hours per week dependant on status
We are looking for an individual who can provide a strategic and operational oversight of provision for those pupils with SEND. You will be the focal point of communication ensuring effective, efficient and clear communication to parents, students and staff. You will also be the teacher in charge of children in care and you will be on the safeguarding team.

Not only will you be working within Hareclive E-ACT Academy, but you will be working within a large multi-academy trust which provides on-going CPD and support.
Educational requirements and qualifications:
- Qualified teacher status
- SENCO Qualification
Essential skills and experience
- Teaching experience in a primary school, with a commitment to preparing and delivering high-quality educational experiences for all pupils.
- A reflective practitioner who consistently seeks to improve their teaching to support learning and accelerate pupil progress.
- Involvement in strategic planning and self-evaluation that leads to positive impact.
- Experience of planning and conducting training and of leading INSET that leads to quality provision for pupils with SEND.
- Experience in leading teaching staff to improve outcomes for pupils.
- Strong understanding of TUF
- Desirable skills and experience
- SENCO qualification
- Previous experience as a SENCO
