We are a popular, friendly and inclusive 2 form entry primary school, seeking to appoint a highly motivated teacher.
SENDCo Support: The successful candidate will work closely with the SENDCo, ensuring that children with SEND are included in all aspects of school life and are given learning opportunities that support their independence and challenge them to make the best progress possible. The post will include the development of our new ‘Learning Zone’, a room catering for our high needs children.
We hope to appoint a candidate with SENDCo or equivalent experience. In the absence of this, we would consider candidates who have significant experience of identifying, planning, and delivering interventions for children with SEND needs.
Phonics Teacher: The successful candidate will also work closely with the Literacy Coordinator, ensuring the Read, Write, Inc. programme is delivered effectively. A sound and up to date knowledge of the Read, Write Inc. phonics programme and effective phonics teaching is also essential.
If you would like to become a member of our Clara Grant family, please see the details below. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful candidate will require an enhanced DBS clearance. We are dedicated to equality and valuing diversity.
We would welcome and encourage potential candidates to visit our schools. Please telephone or email to arrange this or for an application pack.
