Pivot Academy is expanding, join us!
At Pivot we believe children deserve better. In our Academies we teach and support children and young people from Key Stages 1 – 5 who have been excluded from school, for whom mainstream education is simply not working, or those with an EHCP who require a specialist placement. Every day our teams do incredible work, making a huge difference to some of the most complex and challenging children, many of whom come to us with some really traumatic backgrounds. We are doing great things – but we have so much more to do.
Even before the pandemic the demand for good quality provision far exceeded supply. The past year has widened the gap even more – and we are stepping up to the challenge.
Pivot Academy at Salus House will open in September 2021, providing additional high-quality capacity for children and young people with complex SEMH and other learning needs and we are seeking a conscientious and experienced Senior Administrator to facilitate the smooth and effective running of the Salus House office.
As a Senior Administrator, you will be responsible for implementing administrative procedures, ensuring these are operating effectively to allow our staff to focus on their roles of supporting our young people. You will also play a key role in exams support and carry out duties associated with the coordination of exams. The successful candidate will have excellent IT skills and will be very well organised, with the ability to prioritise their workload. The ideal candidate will have experience in an education setting, although this is not essential to the role.
Working at Pivot will give you a real chance to change our student’s lives and we truly believe you will find working here a rewarding experience.
