The three federated schools are progressing with their exciting journey. The appointed member of staff will be based at Riverbank School; however, the newly appointed person would be employed by the federation.
We require a senior teaching assistant to join this vibrant special school at an exciting time in its development as we look towards the pending build of our new state of the art building.
Riverbank School provides for the needs of 70 pupils, aged 4-11. The majority of our pupils have a diagnosis of either SLD, GLD, ASC or SpLD and can sometimes display multifaceted behaviours.
Significant experience of working with pupils who have special educational needs is essential. Successful applicants must be able to work in a team and show initiative. Please refer to Job Description and personal specification attached.
Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014, all School Learning Support Workers must be registered with the Education Workforce Council (EWC).
The posts are subject to Enhanced DBS checks and candidates must register with the Education Workforce Council.
