We are recruiting for the role of Senior Tutor and Deputy Safeguarding Lead to join Wiltshire College & University Centre to lead and manage campus based Tutorial & Safeguarding teams.
Acting as Deputy Safeguarding Lead to ensure that processes to identify vulnerable students are followed and intervention strategies are in place to support and retain students. You will provide training, support, guidance and advice to colleagues on matters relating to Child Protection and Safeguarding and take part in multi-agency meetings.
We are looking for someone with a good understanding of Child Protection and Safeguarding practice and legislation as well as an understanding of expectations of attendance and routes to follow if students fall below expectations. You should hold a relevant up to date advanced safeguarding qualification. A background within the Education sector working with young people and vulnerable adults will be advantageous.
