£28.15 per hour (£23.19 + £4.96 holiday pay)
£38.62 per hour (£31.81 + £6.81 holiday pay)
Our engineering department is very well equipped to meet the demands of local employers and those seeking entry to higher education. We are seeking a passionate individual who can pass on their knowledge and encourage our learners to succeed.
The successful candidate must have a strong background in electrical/electronic engineering and the ability to enthuse and motivate up and coming engineers of the future. Previous experience of working with young people would be advantageous. More importantly you must have the drive, determination and desire to make a difference to young people’s lives through education. The courses for delivery will be City & Guilds L2, BTEC L3 and BTEC HNC/HND.
Ideal candidates will:
• Have a relevant Engineering degree but, as a minimum, you will have a level 4 qualification in Engineering.
• Experience delivering Electrical/Electronic programmes up to level 5.
• You will also hold or be willing to work towards accredited vocational assessor and internal verifier qualifications.
