Hours: Minimum of 1.5 hours to maximum of 30 hours over 5 days depending on subject until May/June 2023

We are looking for Sessional Teachers to deliver at A-level and/or GCSE to work with small groups of up to 5 students, who require additional support as a result of the disruption caused by the Covid-19 pandemic. You will be part of and supported by staff within the Academic Studies team based at The Joseph Wright Centre.
This is a truly rewarding role, working with students and directly seeing the impact of your work and helping them to overcome barriers to learning in order to achieve their full potential. This role has the benefit of being very flexible and may be accommodated around other commitments, additionally there may be opportunities to complete this role remotely and support students via Microsoft Teams.
You will be a dedicated and motivated professional, providing outstanding teaching and learning for our 16-19 cohort. You will be qualified up to at least Level 2 in English and or Maths, a relevant degree qualification (or equivalent) would be desirable. In addition, you will hold a recognised Level 5/6 teaching qualification (PGCE/CertEd) or working towards. You will be an enthusiastic, flexible and innovative teacher with experience of delivering to GCSE or A-level cohorts. Candidates with experiences of private tutoring and examiner roles are desirable. Excellent administration and interpersonal skills together with a commitment to working effectively as part of a team are also essential in this role.
An immediate start would be preferable.
