SITE MANAGER POSITIONS
Gosden House is an outstanding school for young people with learning and additional needs, from 4-16 years of age. Set in extensive grounds, the environment offers students the opportunity to explore and challenge the potential of learners in every aspect. The curriculum has a strong focus on core learning skills and communication. We aim to develop resilience, creativity and social skills in order to support young people to succeed in the workplace and live rewarding, independent lives.
We are seeking two enthusiastic, efficient, and committed people to join us in these key roles: In conjunction with the Business Manager, the overall purpose of these roles is to support the management, maintenance and development of the school site and premises.
This will include managing school premises issues as they arise, managing external contractors (including cleaners), developing the premises and maintenance plan, and addressing all other aspects of the site management to ensure that the premises are fit for purpose and meet the requirements of health and safety legislation and the curriculum.
The post holders will be required to be experienced practitioners with significant practical skills. The roles are both operational (as well as managerial in the case of a Site Manager) therefore you will be required to have a ‘hands on’ approach as you will spend a significant proportion of your time involved in practical site activities

• The roles will be graded at S5.1 to S 8.1 (Surrey Pay Scale) full-time equivalent rate, depending on experience:
• Hours - generally 37.5 per week 8.30-4.30 (30 minutes Lunch), however, actual hours may vary according to school need and will be managed in accordance with the Business Manager
• The FTE salary range is £21,593 – £31,273.
• Subsidised accommodation may be available, depending on circumstances.
Closing Date Monday 9th November – 12 noon
Interviews to be held w/c 16th November. These will either be remote or face to face, depending on circumstances.
