30.5 hours per week [39 weeks p.a.]
Full time salary ME7, points 12 – 15, currently £24,462 to £25,809 [paid pro rata].

The Ursuline High School has been established for over 125 years in Wimbledon and is an outstanding Roman Catholic Girls School in the Heart of Wimbledon. The Ursuline has a strong Catholic identity and mission based on the charism of St Angela Merici.
The school currently caters for 1400 girls aged 11-18, which includes approximately 320 pupils in our Sixth Form. We have a joint Sixth Form with Wimbledon College, sharing facilities on both sites.
This post will be directly responsible to the Assistant Headteacher for Key Stage 5.
The person appointed should be a qualified teacher, well organised and possess good communication skills. They must possess initiative, have the ability to supervise students and command respect from young people. They must be consistent in their approach as well as resilient. They must be able to give advice to post 16 students on independent study. The person should be able to update data bases.
The salary for this post will be ME7, points 12 – 15, currently £24,462 to £25,809 per annum. Please note, however, that these figures are for a full-time post, whereas this post is term time only [39 weeks] and therefore you will be paid pro rata.
The position is subject to enhanced DBS disclosure.

The post is superannuable with the option of a 6% contributory pension scheme.
The person appointed will be required to work throughout the school term time for 30.5 hours per week for 39 weeks p.a.
The hours of duty will be 8.20 am – 3.20 pm with a 45 minute lunch break. Flexibility will be necessary during certain times of the year.
