Elmfield School for Deaf Children would like to appoint a committed, happy and energetic person to join our team of SMSAs, working to oversee the children during their lunch hour. The ability to use British Sign Language is preferred, or a commitment to learn.
We are a small special school, situated on two sites and work closely in partnership with our partner secondary school. We are looking to extend our primary school partnership in the near future and the successful candidate will be an essential part of that development.
The post holder will be based at our Primary site in Westbury-on-Trym.
Duties will involve supervising and helping children with their lunch, and then supervise play outside in the playground, or classroom if it is raining.
We like our SMSA’s to interact and lead play with children at lunchtimes. You must have the ability to work closely and effectively within a strong and friendly team and be committed to the wellbeing of our children.
Closing date: 11th August at 9am
Interviews: Week beginning 16th August
Unfortunately we do not accept CVs or work with recruitment agencies.
