Sound & Media Technician
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Fixed term until August 2022, Term time only
Working hours: 8am to 4pm, 21 hours per week, 3 days a week
Pay Scale: Scale 5 to 6 (points 11 to 20)
Actual Salary: £12,800 - £15,029 per annum (depending on experience)
Oaklands is an Outstanding special school serving the London Borough of Hounslow that provides specialist education to students with severe learning difficulties, profound and multiple difficulties and autism. From September 2018, we have a Primary school (New Oaks), and a Secondary school (High Oaks) We can cater for students aged from 4 to 19. We are based across two different sites with both our school buildings offering state of the art facilities for our students.
Oaklands is at an exciting point in its development. We relocated in 2018 to our purpose built new school building (close to Osterley Tube Station and other public transport links) that offers state of the art facilities for our students.
We are currently looking for a Sound and Media Technician to work alongside the IT Manager and Music Teacher to support the delivery of music education. You will provide support to teachers in producing video lessons for a variety of purposes and ensure the recording studio facilities are used to their full potential. The ideal candidate will maintain knowledge of developments in recording and advise on any development of facilities if required.
