We wish to recruit a Temporary Level 2 E9064AC Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant with a caring and positive outlook, to work with a specific individual child with complex needs to start in January 2020.
You will work alongside the class teacher, providing classroom support for a named child with complex needs.

- Able to positively promote inclusion and have high expectations of all children
- Able to assist in the preparation of learning resources
- Able to help with the assessment of pupil progress

The post is to support a specific child currently in Key Stage 1, 25 hours per week. 9am to 3pm with an hour’s break for lunch. This is a maternity cover post, commencing 6 January 2020, which we would anticipate continuing until early March 2021.
The post will be paid at Grade 4; points 7-10. Starting point on the scale to be determined, depending on experience.
This role is temporary and for a named child. The position will cease if the named child leaves our provision or funding is withdrawn.
We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young persons. This appointment will be subject to Enhanced DBS Disclosure; proof of the right to work in the UK, and satisfactory references.
