This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant and caring school, joining a skilled and supportive staff. We are currently recruiting for Special Needs Assistants to support children primarily on an individual or small group basis. Hours are flexible.
In line with all of our classroom support staff, the role will include midday supervision.
We are particularly interested in hearing from applicants who have experience working with children who have speech and language difficulties and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder but are prepared to support and train up applicants who we believe have the potential to fulfil the role.
The role is paid at Surrey pay grade S3, the current full time equivalent rate is £17,663 - £18,607 per annum depending on experience.
For an individual working 22.1 hours per week (5 mornings) this equates to £9,089 - £9,574
For an individual working 17.9 hours per week (5 afternoons) this equates to £7,361 - £7,755
For an individual working 30.85 hours per week (full-time) this equates to £12,687 - £13,365
