We are a friendly, supportive team who put the needs of our children first, and currently have two vacancies for Teaching Assistants. The Governors wish to appoint:
- a Special Needs TA to work with an individual child in Early Years and
- a Teaching Assistant to support a classroom and one day a week as a 1:1 with a specific child
The successful candidates will be positive, caring and passionate about working with children, and will committed to upholding our school aims of Excellence, Unity and Service.
You will need strong communication skills to liaise with staff and parents, and be prepared to support the needs of the children.
The contract duration is for the academic year 2020-21, but it could extend longer or become permanent. It would also suit someone who is thinking about taking up teacher training and wants to build their experience working in a class environment.
Hours: 30 hours per week, for 38.6 weeks a year (term time plus some INSET days),
To be worked: 08:30 to 15:00 Monday to Friday
Pay scale: Surrey S3 £17,663 to £18,607 (actual £12,532pa)
