Cambridge Regional College is seeking a confident and motivated Specialist Learning Support Mentor to join our diverse and dynamic team.
You will provide effective teaching, support and study development for students with supported learning needs via drop in or pre booked sessions in either small groups or 1-1 sessions.
You will be responsible for developing student's independent learning skills, abilities and literacy/numeracy on a range of programmes. It is therefore essential that you hold a teaching qualification,minimum Level 4 Certificate in Teaching in the Lifelong Learning Sector(CTLLS) o requivalent.
You must also be qualified to GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English and Maths and have experience of working with people with supportive learning needs, ideally within a Further Education establishment. You must have excellent organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a range of students on courses from entry level to level 3.
