The Additional Learning Support & Inclusion Department are recruiting a new Specialist Support Practitioner, to coordinate the additional learning support for adults. The main duty of the role is to coordinate and plan specialist support for adults with additional needs, liaise with curriculum teams, provide support and undertake assessments of students. You will also go into classes to support adult learners and run drop-in workshops. Experience in the role is necessary, as is a flexible proactive approach, good organisation and communication skills and a thorough demonstrable knowledge of Safeguarding and Professional Boundaries. The most vital attributes are enthusiasm, flexibility, patience. You will need to be conscientious and dedicated to making a difference to our learner's educational journey.
