Specialist Teacher Team Leader (Communication)

Applications are invited for the post of Specialist Teacher Team Leader to manage and lead the Speech and Language Specialist Teacher Team.
The Speech and Language Specialist Teacher Team consists of a small, highly skilled team of specialist teachers and teaching assistants. The team is one of four specialist teacher teams that provides a service to schools through an SLA, trading jointly under the title of ‘Communication Achievement and Wellbeing Service’.
The team works closely with parents, schools, health, social services, the third sector and other specialist services based in education to improve outcomes for children and young people with speech language and communication difficulties.
We are looking for a committed and experienced specialist teacher to lead on the development of excellent practice in this field.
This post has a requirement for registration with the Education Workforce Council.
