The Dartmoor Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint a proactive, caring and supportive Specialist Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team, based at Okehampton Primary School. You will work with teachers to support the learning, educational progress and inclusion of pupil(s) with a hearing impairment, with the aim of narrowing any attainment gap they have with their hearing peers on entry to school. You will give assistance to pupil(s) or student(s) with a hearing impairment so that they can access the curriculum, participate in learning, experience a sense of achievement and develop independence in learning and other aspects of school life.
Hours: 31.67 per week
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:40am to 3:30pm (to include 30 minute break)
Fixed Term / Part Time
Grade D - £20,092 pro rata, 31.67 hours per week, term time plus non-pupil days
Interviews: week commencing 2nd August
