Our Speech and Language team are a well-established and integral part of student life at Greenshaw High School, providing therapy and assessments within our Specialist Resourced Provision for students with a language disorder, as well as within the mainstream school. We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual with an imaginative and intellectually rigorous approach to therapy planning and the ability to engage and motivate our students to join our school as a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist. For the right candidate, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a difference to the lives of our students.
The successful candidate will have successful post-qualification experience of at least two years, as well as previous experience of working with young people with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) and a sound knowledge base in planning effective interventions. Registration with the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) and the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC) is essential. Applicants with previous experience in a similar role are strongly encouraged to apply.
This role would suit a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist, however applications from Band 5 would be considered. Applications are welcome on both a full time (36 hours) and part time basis. If your preference is for part-time, please indicate your preferred working hours when submitting your application.
