Salary: £18,615 - £21,111 per annum pro rata
£14,892 - £16,888 for the hours stated below.
Hours: 29.6 hours per week, 52 weeks per year.

About the role
We are looking for a Sport and Gym Officer to join our Student Support Services team.
As a Sport and Gym Officer you will be expected to facilitate, develop and promote and develop the college’s fitness, sport, activity and enrichment programme, and at the same time to support the Student Support Services team, students and staff to ensure all activities are well promoted and act as a central point of contact for the sports teams as well as the Fitness Suite.
The ideal candidate will hold a level 2 Gym Instructor qualification, a coaching qualification and experience in sports development would also be advantageous. All applicants are required to have a minimum GCSE grade C or equivalent in Literacy and Numeracy. They must be a team player with good customer service skills and the ability to work on their own initiative.
