The Cathedral School Llandaff, Cardiff’s leading independent school for girls and boys, seeks to appoint an experienced and inspirational specialist to coach girls’ cricket from September 2021 on a fixed term basis for one year.
This role provides an opportunity to help shape the principles of play throughout the school from U8 to our 1st team. Across the school a number of our girls achieve representative honours and as well as celebrating their success, we aim to celebrate and develop a lifelong love of the sport in all pupils. This post would suit a proficient sportsperson, who is looking for the opportunity to coach cricket as part of a varied and successful Games programme to keen and motivated pupils, and who can be an effective member of a highly committed team of staff. This is a rewarding role, which offers excellent experience towards future career development.
The role is for 18 hours each week during term time. There will also be regular Saturday fixtures, for which the post-holder must be available. The salary is £8,648 per annum, plus co-curricular payment for weekend fixtures. In addition, lunch is provided free of charge, and there may be scope for additional hours due to other school activities.
