Southwark College, part of NCG (a leading national provider of education and training), is looking to recruit a Student Support and Admissions Manager.
As Student Support and Admissions Manager, you will be responsible for leading on and the delivery of high-quality customer focused admissions, enrolment and financial support service for new and existing learners that maximises opportunities to improve the recruitment process and deliver growth in student numbers. You will foster a strong performance culture and exceptional customer service.
The post holder will take up the role during an exciting time in our journey as we grow as a College as part of one of the largest college groups in the UK, working within a dynamic and supportive Student Services Team to ensure that the student support and admissions activity fully supports the work of the College.
Educated to Level 4 NVQ qualifications or equivalent in Management or professional studies qualification, you will possess excellent written communication skills with the ability to produce briefing papers and reports for senior management. The post-holder will be required to work to the highest professional standards and to contribute to the delivery of the College’s Strategic Plan. You will have detailed and up to date knowledge of funding requirements within the adult education sector and the context in which adult and community education operates and demonstrable high levels of IT skills particularly the use of EBS (or other equivalent MIS system) as an enrolment tool and Microsoft Office. Experience of leading and managing a team of staff demonstrating the ability to support, develop and manage performance is also essential.
