Student Support Officer
Salary: £16,588-18,532 per annum pro rata (£15,666.42-£17,534.12 for the hours stated)
Hours: 37 hours per weeks, 42 weeks per year

About the role
We are looking for a Student Support Officer to join our Student Support Services team.
As a Student Support Officer, you will support with the administration of applications for financial support, plan and run health and wellbeing activities, enrichment and learner engagement events. You will be student-facing and actively participate in promoting the welfare and safeguarding of learners.
The ideal candidate will have a level 3 qualification in a related field and experience of working with young people. It is essential that candidates have strong organisational and administrative skills with particular attendance to finances and accounts and knowledge of databases and reports.
About the team
The Student Support team support learners to fully participate and engage with the college experience. The team prioritises the safeguarding and welfare of learners and works with external partners to ensure that an effective provision is in place for students.
You will report to the Student Support Coordinator and work with other members of the team to plan events and activities.
