Corpus Christi Catholic College is a highly regarded, oversubscribed and successful 11-16 secondary school with a caring ethos and high standards, part of the Diocese of Leeds.
We are looking to appoint two Student Support Officers who will
- assist the Head of Year in monitoring academic achievement, behaviour and attitude to learning.
- have high expectations for all pupils and demand high standards of performance, attitude and behaviour in line with the aims and aspirations of this Catholic school.
- ensure that each pupil’s experience of their time at the college is both a positive and a happy one and each individual’s potential is realised
- support the tutors, who often act as the first port of call and a vital link between school and parents.contribute to the overall ethos/work/aims of the school to ensure high standards of learning and teaching.
The successful candidate will be able to evidence a good standard of numeracy, literacy and ICT skills, experience of working with students between the ages of 11 and 16 and have an understanding of behaviour management strategies.
Working hours for the post are 8am to 4pm, Monday to Thursday, and 8am to 3:30pm on Friday's however from time to time it may be necessary to work flexibly to effectively support college meetings and events.
This is a term time only post with an actual salary range of £22,598 to £24,093 at grade SO1.
