43 working weeks per year
Term Time plus 5 Inset Days + 20 Additional Days
Actual Salary £17,594 - £21,876 (All to be confirmed at interview)
As a popular and growing school we require, as soon as possible, a Student Support Worker to join our Pastoral Team. The successful candidate will:
• help facilitate the highest quality support for those students who are disaffected, disengaged or at risk of exclusion from the curriculum, in order to achieve their full potential.
• take a pro-active role in the support of the educational, social, welfare and physical needs of the students to ensure that all students succeed.
• work with the Assistant Headteacher (Designated Safeguarding Lead) to ensure the effective safeguarding of all children in the school’s care.
• Liaise with the Student Support Coordinator, the Inclusion Room Supervisor and other Student Services staff to ensure that good attendance of all students is maintained.
