Student Mental Health Worker. Student Services. Full Time. Permanent.
We are looking to appoint a Mental Health Worker to join our team to support students and provide one-to-one, in group and workshops support to help them develop resilience and independence to stay in College.
ASPIRE is a service at Leicester College that provides Mental Health and Wellbeing support to all students. ASPIRE works together with the students to offer support if their mental health is having an impact on their life at College.
You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, this includes the ability to give constructive feedback to students and maintain effective records. You will also have the skills to build and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues throughout the College and external partners.
The successful candidate will have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent along with recent and relevant experience working with a diverse range of mental health difficulties. You will also be educated to Level 2 minimum in maths and English (GCSE Grade C or above, GCSE Grade 4 or above, or equivalent).
