We at West London College are looking for a Supported Internship & School Links Coordinator to join our Inclusive Learning Department in delivering an excellent service. To be a committed member of the College’s Inclusive Learning Department, contributing to supporting learners with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Transition into College (School Links) as well supporting their transition into Supported Internships and employment. You will create partnerships with new schools and employers to further develop the school links provision and Supported Internships to meet and exceed set budgets. This role requires the post holder to undertake a range of administrative tasks that support the effective outcomes for School Link and Supported Internship provision, supporting HOD, Curriculum Managers and the Departments.
With experience of working in a similar setting you will provide advice and support to individual students (including appropriate referral arrangements) who have underlying problems affecting their punctuality, attendance or behaviour (record using ProMonitor). Using your skilled communication abilities you will have the ability to give clear, honest and constructive feedback to individuals and teams on their performance and improvement targets. Our successful candidate will be able to increase success rates and secure employment for our interns. The post holder will possess an understanding of the FE sector and the administrative demands required to ensure the maximisation of student success. It is essential you have experience of working to tight deadlines, planning and prioritising work to ensure deadlines are met.
Salary: £29,697 - £32,123
