This is a full time open-ended position.
The Pembrokeshire Learning Centre is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Teacher for 4 days a week and Teacher in Charge of the Key Stage 4 provision for 1 day a week, currently based in Pembroke Dock Learning & Youth Centre. The Pembrokeshire Learning Centre is a specialist provision that supports learners from across Pembrokeshire that have additional learning needs.
Pembrokeshire Learning Centre is looking for one person to fill both roles.
The purpose of this post is to achieve the highest possible standards and outcomes for the pupils attending the key stage 4 provision and deliver to key stage 3 and 4 learners within other provisions.
The successful candidate will ensure a comprehensive and personalised programme of learning is delivered for learners of key stage 4 with additional learning needs and behaviour, emotional and social needs. On the additional day as Teacher in Charge, the task will be managerial and close collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team will be key.
The position will be based at Pembroke Dock Learning & Youth Centre, there will be opportunities to work across the other provisions and deliver qualifications and accreditations for learners within other PLC provisions.
