The Headteacher and Governing Body of St. Helen’s Catholic Primary School
are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, vibrant and creative teacher with evidence of high quality teaching skills to join their hard-working school.
St. Helen’s RC Primary School is part of a warm and welcoming community with high expectations. We are looking for teachers with high expectations of both themselves and the children in their care and who are able to deliver high quality lessons in which children are actively engaged in their learning. It is expected that candidates are able to demonstrate excellent inter-personal and communication skills.
Candidates will need to:
Have a commitment to the delivery of education within a Christian, catholic setting reflective of true gospel values
Be able to work collaboratively as part of a strong and developing team
Be able to think creatively and innovatively; be caring, full of enthusiasm and be committed to making our children’s learning fun and enjoyable;
Be highly motivated and hold equally high expectations of our children’s achievements, their behaviour, and skills development;
Demonstrate high levels of digital competence; be familiar with the requirements of the DCF and be able to use I.C.T effectively to enhance their teaching and our children’s skills;
Plan sessions that embed and enhance skills across the curriculum
Be committed to promoting the safeguarding and well-being of children
Establish and maintain positive relationships within our Christian and wider community.

Under the Education (Wales) Act 2014 all Teacher staff in schools, (which includes the post referred to herein), must be registered with the Education Workforce Council for Wales (EWC) from 1 April 2016.
Your employment will be subject to satisfactory documentary evidence of registration, and continuing registration, as a Teacher with the EWC.
