Inscape House School is a non – maintained ASC specialist day school for children and young people age 5 – 19 years. We currently have a number of teaching vacancies available.
Salary Scales (dependent on experience) - £25,054 - £28,756 / £30,344 - £34,849
As our Teacher you will...
Experience in ASC is essential and you must be able to evidence this.

You will have extensive knowledge of safeguarding and child protection expectations, have experience in teaching core subjects with the ability to teach outside of this remit where necessary.
You will have experience of working within multi-disciplinary teams within an educational setting and you must be able to manage and deploy a group of educational assistants to facilitate learning and to ensure all of the support in place has a positive impact on every pupil.
It is essential you hold QTS or QTLS, it is an expectation that you have experience of working with children with Autism and communication difficulties, ADHD, mental health or sensory processing issues. You must provide willingness to achieve a diploma in Autism Spectrum Conditions if you do not have this already.
You are caring, passionate, positive, professional and supportive teacher with appropriate experience – you will work hard to contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school, develop professional relationships with your colleague’s , knowing and asking when to ask for advice and specialist support. You should be keen to review and reflect on your own performance and be willing to contribute to the continual improvement of the school.
