Oakfield Short Stay School has a fantastic opportunity for creative teachers to join an ambitious, dedicated and friendly team who have high expectations in all aspects of teaching and learning.
Oakfield is currently experiencing an exciting time of transition, as we move from a good to an outstanding school and relocate to new provisions in the North and South of the county. To support our new sites, we are now seeking to appoint teachers to join our growing team who are passionate about engaging and inspiring children in their learning, and, who are committed to raising standards of attainment across the whole ability range.
For the right candidate a part time position may be considered. Post holders will initially be based at Earl Shilton, flexibility across the Shepshed and Earl Shilton sites may be required.
We are looking for ambitious people who can teach children with SEMH issues, in small mixed age ranges classes, across the primary age range and have experience across KS1 and KS1 who:
- are consistently good in their teaching but strive to become outstanding
- are able to ensure progress of children with challenging behaviour
- are professional and can lead a team of teaching assistants
- are excellent classroom practitioners who can inspire, motivate and have the confidence to share this with teachers across the county
- have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- have a commitment to inclusion and supporting children reintegrate back into primary schools
- are resilient, can respond positively to challenge and have a sense of humour
We are the Primary Pupil Referral Unit for Leicestershire and there are great opportunities for career development for the right candidates.
