The Headteacher and Governing Body of Phillipstown Primary School are seeking to appoint two dynamic and innovative teachers who will motivate and enthuse our pupils to reach their full potential.
Our school offers a welcoming, warm and caring ethos where pupils feel safe and happy. Providing authentic pupil-lead learning experiences is a core part of the philosophy of the school. We have a very supportive Governing Body and school community.
The successful candidate will:
Be an excellent classroom practitioner and have the ability to motivate and engage learners through the delivery of high quality learning experiences;
Be a teacher that is engaging, caring, full of enthusiasm and make our children’s learning fun and enjoyable;
Have a deep understanding of effective pedagogy, statutory documentation and a developing knowledge of the Curriculum for Wales.
Be highly motivated and hold equally high expectations of our children’s achievements, their behaviour, and skills development;
Be able to effectively use high levels of digital competence to enhance their teaching and our children’s skills;
Establish and maintain positive relationships with staff, pupils, parents/carers, the Governing Body and wider community.
