Ysgol Hendrefelin Special School is seeking to employ a temporary enthusiastic and dynamic teacher. The successful candidate will be joining a flourishing Key Stage 3 unit and will need to deliver a variety of National Curriculum subjects to pupils with moderate learning difficulties.
The successful candidate will:
• have the skills to deliver a challenging and creative curriculum to children of all abilities including those displaying moderate learning difficulties.
• be committed to inclusion for all pupils and believe in the potential for all children to succeed.
• be dedicated to high standards of achievement, attainment and behaviour.
• be able to work effectively as part of a team and be prepared to contribute to all aspects of school life.
The school educates pupils aged 8 – 16 years.
The post will commence on April 12th, 2021 and finish on December 31st, 2021.
The post is a great opportunity for teachers to further their experience in working with pupils with additional learning needs. This could be seen as a secondment opportunity for suitable candidates from Primary and Secondary backgrounds or an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified teacher.
