Our Primary client is looking to appoint a qualified SEND Teacher to start as soon as possible on a long term basis. This is an exciting opportunity to join a lovely large, dynamic, community driven primary school with an outgoing and approachable staff team.
They are looking for a confident, flexible and resourceful teacher to work in their Learning Resource Base with children with a range of ages and Additional Learning Needs including Autism.
The successful candidate will also manage three Teaching Assistants to ensure that the children are accessing the curriculum and making positive progress in all aspects of their learning.
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualified teacher status
Experience and understanding of special educational needs and understand how to motivate and support children to achieve their potential.
Experience of using a variety of strategies suitable for working with children with Additional Learning Needs and be passionate about making a difference to children’s lives.
A calm and patient nature.
Team Teach trained.
