THE SALARY ADVERTISED FOR POSTS ARE BASED ON £24K PRO RATA WORKING 42 WEEKS PER YEAR. TIME OFF IS MAINLY BASED AROUND CORE SCHOOL HOLIDAYS WHICH MEANS YOU WILL EARN: £21,973.35 BASED ON £24K PRO RATA.WORKING MONDAY - THURSDAY 8:30am - 5pm and FRIDAY 8:30am - 2:30pm
Due to increased delivery contracts and demand Really Pro Ltd has several opportunities within our independent alternative education settings based across Pembrokeshire.We are looking for passionate tutors / educators who want to work with young people aged 11-16 within our dynamic, alternative education teaching team, inspiring young people to leave education with life skills and grades to build a positive future.We are looking for individuals who can inspire and manage a range of young people whilst delivering a range of alternative qualifications in a range of curriculum topics.
We are specifically looking for Lead Tutors who can deliver Literacy skills , Numeracy skills, Employability skills, Life skills but if you have other skills from the desired list below it would be beneficial to the role (experience in all areas is NOT required but experience in delivering tutoring and/ or teaching in groups is essential for this role):

As an Alternative Education Lead Tutor - you will work with a variety of young people every day in small groups of up to 12 pupils, delivering a structured curriculum that is written and fully digitised (you will receive induction training to deliver).Your role will be to manage an inspiring educational environment, to tutor / teach an exciting curriculum to support our young people to achieve educational grades and rewarding qualifications that will really make a huge difference to their lives.
We are looking for resilient, focused and fun, team players, who can manage pupil behaviour, build relationships with young people, and be calm and adaptable under pressure. Successful candidates will manage a case load of pupils from September 2021 through to July 2022 and beyond, who are at varying stages of their educational journey.
So you will need to be able to forge relationships with pupils quickly to get the work completed in a timely manner in a group or 1-2-1.You will be required to deliver a range of curriculum targets and outputs across the academic year completing tasks, assignments and portfolio work with pupils. You will be required to maintain and complete pupil records i.e training activity, assignments and assessments in line with the company processes and procedures and you will work closely with your team taking direction from the Curriculum & Quality Manager in relation to all aspects of the role that includes hitting outputs and accreditation matters.
