Emanuel School is a co-educational independent secondary school in Wandsworth, London, with over 950 pupils from 10 – 18 years old. We aim to balance academic excellence with the provision of supportive pastoral care and a wide range of co-curricular activities across the arts and sports.
We are looking for an inspiring and innovative teacher to lead, organise and deliver teaching in computing. The role could be at lead teacher or head of department level, depending on the experience of the appointed candidate.
Our ideal candidate will be an excellent teacher, with the confidence to step into this key role leading our computing area. There is a real opportunity to build on our excellent standards to date and to work with colleagues across the departments to ensure that our computing teaching is exceptional.
The successful candidate will have outstanding teaching skills, with the ability to lead colleagues and with a strong vision for the development of computing at Emanuel. We are looking for someone with the drive to lead and develop the computing curriculum area, ensuring high standards of attainment, pupil progress and teaching practice. All staff are also expected to play a wider role in the co-curricular and pastoral life of the school.
