The College operates across two closely located campuses, next to the University of Leicester on University Road and a smaller campus on Regent Road.
In this context, we are looking to appoint a well-qualified, self-motivated and enthusiastic teacher of Biology and Applied Science, who will help us provide the best possible learning experiences and outcomes for our students. It is planned that this post will be based with our team at either the University Road or Regent Road Campus. There is the potential of progression to the role of Assistant Curriculum Leader for any interested candidates, this can be discussed at interview. This will have a responsibility allowance Band one, which equates to £1,270 per annum.
THE CURRICULUM AREA
The Biology, Chemistry and Applied Science (BCAS) team currently comprises nineteen highly experienced and dedicated teaching staff and six laboratory technicians; some colleagues have responsibilities outside of the Department
Major laboratory refurbishment throughout the sciences has taken place recently. We now have an exceptional well-resourced curriculum area.
For our part we shall make every effort to support our new colleagues in making the best of the professional opportunities offered by this post.

• A competitive salary on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Teacher pay scale which ranges from £24,765 to £40,418 pro rata, per annum. The actual salary will range from £21,050 - £34,355.
