A well-qualified and highly motivated Teacher of Biology or Chemistry is required for September 2020, for a full time and permanent position. We would welcome applications from both newly qualified and established teachers. All applicants must demonstrate a passion for their subject, and the ability and skills as a teacher to inspire a love of learning. The ability to teach BTEC would also be advantageous.
The person appointed will join a thriving and supportive Science Faculty made up of 25 staff, with a strong technician and support staff team. The faculty has a reputation for achieving excellent results at all levels and the school’s GCSE Science results have been in the top 7% of schools for progress nationally for the last 4 years. A Level Sciences are very popular subjects amongst our students and there are typically 6 sixth form groups per Science subject. L3VA added results across the Sciences are very strong.
