Rednock School is seeking to appoint an ambitious team player to join our Design Technology team from September 2021. We are looking to consolidate and build on our good practice and look forward to welcoming a new member to the department. This role is both suitable for an experienced teacher or NQT who is committed to engaging and motivating students. Our team currently consists of 6 specialist DT teachers (3 DT, 2 Food and 1 Textiles), & two technicians (1 DT & 1 Food & Textiles) . The department is housed in the DT atrium with a range of specialist classrooms, including a dedicated computer suite.
We are seeking an inspirational and suitably qualified teacher of DT who is capable of teaching in all areas at KS3 and up to GCSE in Product Design; experience of teaching A Level would also be welcome, as would the ability to teach Art at KS3, although this is not essential. We currently offer AQA Product Design at both GCSE & A Level, and WJEC Level 1 / 2 in Hospitality and Catering.

The post is permanent, and will start in September 2021. We are flexible for the post to be full-time or 0.8.
