Part Time Maternity Cover (0.8-0.9 FTE)

• Situated in the Cotswolds.

We wish to appoint a motivated and dynamic professional to join our Design Technology department and build upon its current success and popularity. Design Technology is taught as a carousel in years 7 and 8, with students then opting between Food & Nutrition, Design Engineering and Product Design in year 9. All three disciplines are also offered at GCSE, with 3D Product Design forming part of our A Level offer. In 2019 48% of students achieved grades 9-7 in GCSE Food & Nutrition, while in GCSE Engineering Materials 44% of students achieved grades 9-7. The successful candidate will:
• Have a passion for Design Technology and the ability to inspire both staff and students.
• Have the ability to teach Product Design to GCSE.
• Contribute to whole school improvement and self-evaluation.
