The ability to teach KS3 and KS4 English and to connect with disadvantaged students is essential. An ability to teach A Level English Language or Literature would be an advantage. Applicants should be able to demonstrate excellence in their approach to teaching and learning in the classroom.
Bristol Cathedral Choir School is an academy that specialises in Mathematics and Music. The academy became part of the Cathedral Schools Trust (a Multi Academy Trust) in 2016. The Faculty of English and Drama is led by Mr Ian Barraclough and currently consists of twelve members of staff. Examination results consistently reflect excellent progress.
